February 25, 2007 Something we’re working on: MHNE

I secured the domain name ModernHomesNewEngland.com in 2006 to establish a regional forum for those interested in modern architecture, green living, and prefab construction techniques.

While sites such as fabprefab, LiveModern and now Dwell Connect offer forums and community features, they lack a regional focus, and the New England region certainly needs a boost.

The pursuit is a personal one; my wife and I intend to build a LVL Home when we can. Along with my appreciation of great design, I enjoy studying architecture. I can't wait to craft my own home, my own space, and look forward to sharing my experience as well as learning from the experience of others.

What's in store for MHNE?

We've got some design ideas in the works and other features in development. We're really excited about seeing this come together.

Are we missing anything? What else would you like to see in Modern Homes New England?
